Training and Qualifications

Ben Mankowitz DipCouns PGDip MBACP

My initial training was in 1985 as an in-patient counsellor on the Addiction Unit at Charter Hospital in Hampstead, London. I subsequently completed a broad based AEB validated Counselling Diploma at CSCT (Central school of Counselling and Therapy). I have completed a BACP accredited Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Marital Therapy with London Marriage Guidance and the University of East London. I also have had training experience in Systemic Family Therapy and Solution-Focussed Brief Therapy.

I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (bacp.co.uk) and abide by their code of ethics.

I attend regular clinical supervision for my practice, as required by BACP.
